A festival with people attending

TRIBE

This project was a continued focus on the same theme as a previous project. It was an expansion of the same theme of a previous project exploring experience design in the event space. A physical construction was assembled to form a Star of David wood structure. Using Madmapper, a short reel of animations was projected into the structure. These visuals were made with Adobe After Effects. The other element of the project involved using an XBee remote controller to manipulate the lights on the structure.

Outcome

There wasn't a design gap that was to be solved. We were just inspired by some of the installations and new media art events that Montreal in Canada was known for. We had to design and build a physical construction from scratch, use custom animations and optimise a code for controlling the lights on the wood artefact.
